Château Lancyre is an 80-hectare family-run estate located in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup. The vineyards, in organic farming since 2022 and certified "Haute Valeur Environnementale" level 3, are situated at an average elevation of 150 meters ans are divided between a number of hillside plots on mainly limestone soils.
The estate's terroir is set at the crossroads between the Mediterranean and the Cevennes mountains ans enjoys two pronounced influences : a warm, damp climate rising off the sea which contrasts with the dry, cold air originating in the mountains. Nestled amidst the garrigue, the grape varieties Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan for the reds and rosés, and Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier for the whites thrive here.
