Newly installed English wine producer making terroir driven red wines on AOP Fronton terroir and also producing IGP Comté Tolosan.
Nicholas Smith trained in the UK from 2014 and gained 4 years experience in the Loire Valley, the Roussillon and Bordeaux before acquiring the 10 ha estate in 2020.
Hand harvest, grassy alleys, pheromone diffusers (sexual confusion), no fertilizer due to very healthy carbon rich soils that express the terroir of the southern part of the appelation.
The wines are rich showing an original approach to vinification and blending.
