At the entrance to Béziers, dominated by the imposing silhouette of Saint Nazaire Cathedral, is the Domaine de la Barthe. It is in this family estate in a privileged setting, located between the sea and the scrubland, that Viera and Yves Eychenne combine work and passion to offer a range of sun-drenched wines, typical of the Mediterranean terroir.
Owned by the Eychenne family since the beginning of the 20th century, the Domaine de la Barthe has been passed down from generation to generation. Yves Eychenne regained control in the 1960s. He has since been joined by his wife Viera, of Slovak origin. It was together, in the 2000s, that they embarked on the renewal of the Domaine in order to completely transform it. The vineyard was replanted and a new range of wines based on quality and know-how was created.
