Domaine Félines Jourdan

Domaine Félines Jourdan is a family estate created in 1983 in Mèze on the edge of the Bassin de Thau, facing Sète.
The family's winemaking know-how goes back to the grandfather of Claude Jourdan, the current winegrower. Indeed, he started with about thirty hectares, then the adventure continued with his children. Today the vines extend over 100 ha, 50 of which are AOP Picpoul de Pinet.
Claude took over from his mother for the vinifications for twenty years, his style: fresh and lively wines worked in thermo-controlled stainless steel vats in order to preserve their fruity characters.
The proximity of the Mediterranean Sea allows the vines to benefit from a cooler climate than in the rest of Languedoc. Three terroirs, where the soils and microclimates are different, ten well-adapted grape varieties.
This diversity of soils, climates and grapes creates complex wines while respecting the character of the vintage.
In harmony with nature and with respect for the environment because an ornithological reserve is close to the vineyard, the cultivation of the vines is carried out according to the principles of reasoned control.
