DOMAINE SARRABELLE

Legend has it that the Sarrabelle spring, which springs up near the medieval castle of Montaigut, was the place where the beautiful Yolande met her lover.

Its name comes from the Occitan "sarro-bello" which can be translated as: to hold one's beauty in one's arms.

Today, another love story is being played out on these lands: linking men and vines.

The story of Laurent and Fabien Caussé, the 8th generation of winegrowers on the 49-hectare family estate, with both feet firmly planted in the terroir, but with their spirit always turned towards innovation.

The particularity of this estate lies in the vinification of the In Vinum cuvée, aged for 24 months in oak barrels and then 12 months in terracota amphora.

This technique enhances the Braucol grape variety, typical of the Gaillacois region, by giving it a nice roundness.

In addition to this little jewel, the estate offers a diversity of 5 ranges of wines made in the respect of traditions.
