In Languedoc at FONT-MARS, our vineyard is planted on land where there are fossils of dinosaur eggs. This is testimony to the preservation and history of this unique Terroir: facing the Mediterranean Sea, all in one piece over 55 hectares, it is spread over three types of terroirs:
marine pliocene, to the south.
fluvial formation, to the west, along the Nègue-Vaques river.
Lower Begudo-Rognatian of clay-limestone type, in the northeast.
Our wines are the expression of this Mediterranean nature, perfectly protected by a family whose history has been intimately linked to vines and wine since 1679 and in Languedoc since 1864. The terroir is classified as:
Vin de Pays: Vin de Département, IGP (Protected Geographical Identification) Pays d'Oc, Vin des Collines de la Moure.
